I am a psychologist currently registered in the province of Quebec, based in Montreal. I work with adults who are seeking help for a variety of issues (including anxiety, depression, difficulty adjusting to life events, grief, OCD and trauma). I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and I strive to create a warm, open and accepting environment for clients.
My approach to therapy involves the use of techniques shown by research to be helpful. My main approach to therapy is cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). However, I also draw from other approaches, such as mindfulness-based therapy, motivational interviewing and elements of dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), depending on client needs. I completed my undergraduate in psychology at McGill University and my masters and PhD in clinical psychology at The University of British Columbia.
